ABOUT PROSOFT

It is a program launched by the Government of the Republic in order to promote the Information Technology (IT) sector in Mexico.
In its third evolution, Prosoft 3.0 seeks to position the country as a global player in IT services with initiatives and actions that are a priority on the national agenda.

IT services must act as catalysts of innovation and productivity for the rest of the national economic sectors.

In Mexico, IT has great potential to grow, to impact the internal market and to position itself as a global service provider.



WHAT CHALLENGES DO WE FACE?

  • Over 50% of IT companies have difficulty hiring qualified staff.

Business Organizations

Groups of people that gather a significant amount of TI Business or their interest is on IT Enabling.

Academy

It’s every Research Center and Educative Institution on a technical, graduate or post graduate level that prepare Information Technologies experts and its related careers (engineer, digital creative, mathematics and economic-administrative that supports IT business).

Government

We don’t speak about the government as a federation or state governments; we are looking for a National Policy through alliances with federative entities that wish to promote Information Technologies.

Software:

They are business that develop and/or edit system software, programming software and application software; these can be made as specific solutions or packed for its sale on national and/or international markets.

IT Services:

They are businesses that offer national or international consulting services on IT subjects and related services.

Digital Creative Media:

Those businesses that make creative activities enabled by Information Technologies like special effects, digital postproduction and mobile applications among others.

BPO:

Business Process Outsourcing refers to every business that subcontract other business in order to provide IT services like payroll, logistics, transactions, training, call centers, innovations and many more.

IT Users:

They are looking to implement IT to their business models in order to improve productivity.

Government:

They are looking to implement IT for its administrative improvement and citizen service. Government is one of the largest IT consumers.
